Kayla Savard

Kayla Savard is the Membership Manager for the Santa Fe Institute’s Applied Complexity Network (ACtioN), where she supports a global community of professionals applying complexity science in real-world contexts. Originally from the Bay Area, CA, she joined SFI in 2018 through the InterPlanetary Project, later transitioning to ACtioN during the pandemic. She now helps coordinate and facilitate programming for SFI’s ACtioN, Trustee, and Complexity Society communities. In addition to her membership work, Kayla leads design efforts for ACtioN, managing all digital and print assets for events — a role she took on early in her tenure out of pure passion. She embraces visual creativity, finds joy in spreadsheets and data, and strives to build bridges between people and ideas.
