David Bau

David joined the Santa Fe Institute in 2021. With 20 years of experience in digital media and technology, a BSCS from UNM, and 9 years in professional software development, David has a breadth of skills in the digital space and a depth of skills in application design and development. He has created interactive training and analytics platforms in the aerospace sector, worked in the visual effects industry developing custom pipeline tools, and currently leads the architecture and development of SFI’s ARCH platform. He is also a graduate student of computer science at Georgia Tech, with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction.
