SFI's Tim Kohler offers lessons from 20 years of archaeological research informed by the sciences of complex adaptive systems.

Kohler, an SFI External Professor and Science Board member and Regents Professor at Washington State University, has applied modeling and analysis methods and theoretical insights that have emerged over the past two decades to his own research focused on the archaeology of the Southwestern U.S.

His May 3, 2012 presentation was the keynote address for SFI's 2012 Science Board Symposium in Santa Fe.
