The conference is one of many being held around the country called “Expanding Your Horizons” (EYH). It brings together women in a wide range of industries and professions with public, private and even home school students in a unique hands-on environment for a day in which girls can see and experience what opportunities exist for them in these fields.
The goal of the Santa Fe event is to reach 200 girls in 5th-12th grade, their teachers, and parents. The one day conference is tentatively scheduled for May 26th or 27th at the Santa Fe Community College. For more information contact Irene Lee at lee@santafe.edu.
