Quick Tips For Visiting Santa Fe

Take it easy. Santa Fe's high altitude (7,000 feet above sea level) means air is rarefied, thinner.
It usually takes about 48 hours to adjust and staying hydrated helps.
Watch your alcohol intake. One drink is the equivalent of three at sea level.

Weather
Santa Fe's climate is dry, with sometimes less than 20 percent humidity. Nights and early mornings are quite cool. The average temperature in Sept is 77/46.
Be sure to check current conditions before traveling as monsoon rains can quickly cool down a hot day and bring unexpected floods and rapid humidity.

Field Trip
If you choose to hike in the forest for your field trip, bring a warm jacket and good walking shoes as it can get cold at the higher altitude of 10,000 feet.

Dining
Santa Fe is a world class destination with many fine dining options just steps from the hotel. For local dining suggestions click HERE.

Health
If you are unwell, please do not attend. Please be conscious and considerate of this collective. Masks will be provided to those interested, and rapid Covid tests will be available.

If you have any further questions please contact Hilary or Bruce.
