Complex System Approaches to 21st Century Challenges: Inequality, Climate Change, and New Technologies

The workshop featured around 50 participants. We planned to have both plenary talks and smaller parallel sessions and working groups that discussed specific aspects of complexity economics and political economy. 

The meeting selected participants from several different groups:

1)         The call for papers (extended abstracts) can be found under the “Apply” tab.  The organizers of the conference will review the papers and pick the best ones for presentation.

2)         We especially encouraged submissions from scholars from SFI EPE grant's “sibling” political economy centers.  

3)         We also invited 6-10 practitioners.

4)         We also invited participants from the broader SFI community.
