Participants will have the opportunity to be considered for two separate prize categories:

Poster Session Prizes

Participants who have been pre-selected to present at the poster session on the evening of Day 2 (June 21) will be considered for the following monetary prizes. (See “Apply” for poster abstract submission criteria). The posters that best present compelling results in collective intelligence research will be awarded as follows:

First Prize         $1,000
Second Prize    $750
Third Prize        $500


Radical Ideas Prize

Participants who have been pre-selected to present their “outside the box” radical ideas on the afternoon of Day 3 (June 22) will be considered for this award. (See “Apply” tab for radical ideas submission criteria). If any of these radical ideas is deemed particularly creative and worthwhile, the project leader will be offered a scholarship to attend the highly competitive four-week Santa Fe Institute Complex Systems Summer School (CSSS) during the following summer, which includes a $1500 travel stipend.
