Noyce Conference Room
Working Group

All day

This event is closed to the public.

This working group brings together scholars from diverse fields—neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and AI—who are all investigating the broad notion of “intelligence”, whether in biological systems or in machines. This working group will investigate the notion of “artificial general intelligence” (AGI) from the perspective of cognitive science research on intelligence, and critically examine the definitions, assumptions, and predictions made in the prominent literature on AGI, “superintelligence”, and related notions.
