Meeting Summary:  In recent years, researchers studying human cooperative behavior have turned their attention to the social structure of groups, and specifically to the networks of interactions underlying it. The general idea is that individuals do not operate in isolation from others. Thus, explaining human social behavior requires consideration of the multiple networks that individuals are embedded in.

The meeting will lay the groundwork for a field-based project aiming to collect social network data in a naturalistic setting, focusing on the structure and dynamics of cooperation and competition in humans.
