Abstract. I’ll describe our lab’s work in analyzing Twitter activity and online news coverage of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections (electome.org). We have developed methods to map tribal networks and study the diffusion patterns of content through these networks. I will also share some very early pilots and ideas on interventions aimed at building bridges across our political divides.
