Ian and Sonnet McKinnon

The McKinnons are supporting core science activities at the Santa Fe Institute with a gift to expand fundamental research. In 2015, they also created an endowed fund for education, to maintain and grow the Institute's summer schools, internships, mentorships, and online courses. Through these generous gifts, complexity scientists and learners are able to explore fundamental questions about the nature of the complex world.
