The Emergence exhibit at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science explores questions and scientific discoveries about the origins of life. Scientists at the Santa Fe Institute, and collaborating institutions have been working to find evidence of how and why life first emerged on earth. Emergence: A New View of Life's Origin is a collaboration by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, the Santa Fe Institute (SFI), and the Media Arts program from New Mexico Highlands University in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. The exhibit is based on research supported by the National Science Foundation. Opinions, findings, or conclusions expressed do not necessarily reflect the views of the National Science Foundation.
