SFI's Resident Artists are a select group who have made long-term contributions to the culture and environment of the institute. Through drawings, photographs, artifacts, and installations, these artists have oriented our imagination towards more careful observation, the laws of form, analogy, and counter-factuality. Our artists help us to defy the impulse to atomize the world by finding its fault-lines and suggest a more disquieting and perhaps more connected immersion in phenomena.
