PLEASE use the alphatcl-developers mailing lists to discuss problems, suggestions etc with this release. See the subscription options available at alphatcl developers
Alphatk comes with extensive documentation and examples, all accessible from the 'Help' menu -- it is well worthwhile simply exploring, starting from, say the "Examples Help" file.
First off, please read How to Report Bugs Effectively by Simon Tatham. Then continue! In particular the words "doesn't work" should never appear in a bug report. Describe what does happen or what you do, precisely, and what you expected to happen and what actually happened. Unless it is a known bug (see below), most likely it "does work" for me, so if you just tell me it "doesn't work" we aren't really going to get anywhere!
Please use the Alpha-bugzilla system to reports bugs in Alphatk. You can also email me directly, although it is more helpful to use bug tracking system so that a historical record can be kept, so that everyone can track progress, and so that the developer(s) have a clear unified record of what the problems are. You can also use this system to request enhancements (it may be a good idea to discuss some of these on the mailing lists before filing an enhancement request, to get feedback from other users).
Also see here for some known issues on some platforms which are in the process of being resolved.
Also you may use the AlphaTcl-users and developers mailing lists to discuss problems, suggestions etc with this release, or just to ask questions about how better to use Alphatk. To subscribe, go to users or developers. The mailing lists are reasonably active. Certainly if you just have a general question about Alphatk, you are quite likely to get a more representative answer from the list than if you just ask me.
The most accurate full list of known bugs is available here: Alphatk and AlphaTcl bugs.
Here are some other all shorter versions for the new bugs currently assigned to me, and the unfixed ones.
