  • Hollis -> BibTeX, Inspec -> BibTeX
    I've written a few Tcl procedures to convert various bibliography file formats into BibTeX, specifically the format the Harvard library system, Hollis, uses, the format returned by the FirstSearch interface to the Inspec scientific database, and a more conventional inspec interface. Although useable quite generally under any Tcl interpreter, these procedures are best used under the Macintosh text editor, Alpha, to which they integrate seamlessly. They can be downloaded as Vince's Additions -- see below.

    There seems to be quite a bit of interest in the inspec -> bibtex conversion scripts from people using a general tcl interpreter. So you can get the necessary files here: some library routines and the conversion scripts. They require the 'subst' command so will only work under Tcl version 7.4 or newer.

    These scripts were last updated on March 10th 1997.

    Download this and other packages I've written, and some contributed by others.

    Juggling Site-Swap generator 'Juggle'
    A working, but unfinished program for the MacOS to generate juggling patterns automatically. Read about site-swaps and download this program from the Juggling Information Service.

    For mac users: here are project files for tcl7.5b3 as a shared library (there are some problems with the shared library aspect of Tcl, but it seemed to work in this case), and an OSA compliant tcl component (no longer including namespaces). This code is very old and probably doesn't work any more, so I've removed it. If you want it, please email me.
