Some work on a GA model of the Immune System

In the fall of 1994, as part of Stephanie Forrest's genetic algorithms class at UNM, I did a project following up some of her work with Alan Perelson, Ron Hightower, and others on a model of the immune system. This work is not polished for publication, but I've gone ahead and made it available on the WWW as an experiment in putting papers up on the Web.

I've made available

An HTML version of the paper, complete with figures.
A compressed postscript version of the paper.
The source code for the GA I used.

I think the technology that enables this online publication is wonderful. Very little work was required to produce the HTML version from the LaTeX source, thanks to latex2html.
