I am an evolutionary ecologist.  I generally work on questions related to the economic behaviors of humans.  Current research interests include social learning, social preferences, aggregate patterns of behavioral variation in human societies, and evolutionary ecological theories of the success of humans as a species.  I am currently a post-doc under a joint arrangement between the Santa Fe Institute and the Institute for Empirical Research in Economics in Zürich.
