

Using our online application form, you will enter your personal data, and upload your CV and statement of research interests in support of your application for an SFI Resident Faculty Appointment. Your four letters of recommendation and 3-5 papers are not submitted using the online form; they must be sent separately.
Before beginning the online application process, please have your CV and statement files ready to upload. Files must be in PDF or RTF format. Please also have the names and e-mail addresses of four scholars who know your work, who have agreed to write letters of recommendation for you. SFI will contact your references directly via e-mail with details about submitting a letter of recommendation either electronically or via postal mail.
There are three separate steps in the online application: 1) personal data; 2) file upload; and 3) confirmation page. Make sure that you complete all three steps in the online application process; incomplete submissions will not be accepted. After your materials have been successfully transmitted to our database, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address you entered in the 'E-mail address' field.
As noted above, we will contact your references directly with instructions about submitting letters of recommendation. When all four letters of recommendation have been received, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your file is complete.
Required Papers: You will also need to submit a copy of 3-5 papers you have written in English, either published or unpublished, as an required supplement to your application. The papers can be e-mailed to or sent via post to the address below by the deadline date.
