SFI Trustee Cormac McCarthy was among those inducted into the American Philosophical Society at its meeting in Philadelphia in April.
The Society's membership of just over 1,000 is composed of top scholars from a wide variety of academic disciplines. Nominations for membership can only be made by resident members of the APS.
