FirstSearch - A wide range of subjects in 13 bibliographies with some links to full text articles; cross-database searching.

ISI Web of Science - Over 100,000 journals and 120,000 conferences in the sciences, social sciences and humanities can be searched to discover links to authors and papers which cite one another.

JSTOR - The Scholarly Journal Archive. Includes full-text access to more than 1000 journals which are between 3 to 5 years or older. Links to more current content is provided if free.

Annual Reviews - Annual Reviews publishes authoritative, analytic reviews in 40 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences. Our access includes 1996 to present.

eHRAF World Cultures - Ethnographic books and articles about hundreds of peoples around the world is searchable through word searches or by HRAF codes. Codes include such things as economy, politics, governance, socialization, or even weaponry and technology. The database spans over 100 years of anthropological research on practically every continent, and the files (which actually started in 1949) have been updated so that ethnic groups and immigrant groups are included. 

NBER Working Papers - The NBER is the nation's leading nonprofit economic research organization with an archive of papers going back to June, 1973 and approximately 1,000 papers published each year.

Faculty of 1000 - Presents the selections of the best papers published recently in 16 areas of biology. The papers are selected by over 1000 leading biologists.
