Hello,

My name is Evandro Ferrada. I am from Chile, where I originally studied Biochemistry at the Universidad Católica in Santiago. Currently, I am at the Department of Biochemistry in the University of Zurich, Switzerland, doing a PhD in Evolutionary Biology.

In my master thesis I worked on Computational Structural Biology, developing mean force fields to study protein structures. Since then, I became interested in a wide spectrum of subjects related to Evolution and Complexity.

In my PhD, though mainly focused on Molecular Evolution, I am interested on cooperation at different hierarchical levels at which Natural Selection takes place, Robustness and Evolvability of biological systems, information flow in biology and languages.
