I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1968. After finishing my masters degree in Physics (University of Buenos Aires), I went to the University of Uppsala, Sweden, for my doctoral studies. My thesis was on applications of dynamical systems theory to physical systems. After my graduation in 1997, I spent 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Instituto Mediterraneo de Estudios Avanzados (IMEDEA), Spain. There I did research on stochastic spatial systems, and started collaborations in the field of complex adaptive systems. Then I returned to my homeland as a postdoctoral fellow and teaching assistant at the Physics Department at the University of Buenos Aires.
Recently, I became a research associate at the National Research Science Council (CONICET). My current research interest focuses on applications of network dynamics to social and economic problems. My goal is to understand in model systems, how network and economic agents co-evolve in a single dynamical system.
