
Shubha is currently employed at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC at the Center on Social and Economic Dynamics. She works on developing agent-based computational models in a variety of social science domains using the Ascape modeling framework, pioneered at Brookings and SFI by Joshua Epstein and Robert Axtell. She graduated in 2000 from Stanford University (BA Economics, BS Computer Science, MS Operations Research). She also has professional software development experience at Blue Pumpkin Software, a start-up company in Sunnyvale, CA. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Economics, studying and developing models of food supply chains in developing countries.
