8112ME_2 picture My current research involves the design and use of models of human movement through buildings as fitness functions for evolutionary algorithms; the idea is to evolve permeable spatial configurations. As part of this general goal I am looking into a number of Computational Intelligence techniques including Cellular Automata, Biologically Plausible Neural Networks and Multi-Agent Systems. At the moment other interests include the modelling of Social Networks and Combinatorial Optimisation Techniques. [Home Page]
