I had recieved my MA with Honors from Kharkiv State University in 1996 with concentration in Sociology of Culture. I spent two years working for TACIS-European based program for technical assistance to CIS countries-providing business planning and change support and consulting. In 1998 I have started a PhD program in Sociology at Cornell University. My concentration is Economic Sociology, Game Theory and Collective Action. I am in the process of writing my dissertation which involoves the modeling/computer simulation of differed time discount rates and their influence on economic growth and corruption.
