I am a third year doctoral student in molecular biology, interested in the natural history of molecular adaptation on the lineage leading to humans. My work concerns the limits of inference in detecting adaptive molecular evolution within the primates, and the power of evolutionary approaches in comparative genomics; such approaches will help to illuminate which genes underlie functional adaptation on the human lineage.
