I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in June 2000, and my MS in June 2002. My Masters research had two foci: 1) developing a new technique for using ultrasound to detect breast cancer, and 2) quantifying the tradeoff between shift invariance and depth resolution in imaging projections. I am interested in complex modeling in general and in its ability to help us understand the world around us. I would be happy applying what I learn here to almost any field, including biology, economics, business, imaging, and physics.
