1199_2 picture I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Bioinformatics at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and George Mason University. My research attempts to understand the combinatorial nature of eukaryotic transcriptional regulatory mechanisms. I am integrating different types of genome-wide data sets and using computational and statistical techniques to identify cooperative interactions between transcription factors. I am also interested in developing flexible, interactive tools that will help visualize these cooperative interactions. Whenever I can get away from my transcription factors I put on my weathered hiking boots and let them guide me...anywhere.
