I obtained my degree in ecology at the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia), completing my honors thesis in fragmentation biology. After this, I studied the ecological consequences of leaf size as a research assistant at Macquarie University.
Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of New Mexico (USA), where I am studying the allometry of parasitism and immunity, or the way that organisms of different body sizes are attacked by, and need to defend themselves against, pathogens.
