Robert Lakatos

I was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. Graduated from the University of Novi Sad, Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. Got my masters degree in mathematics at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Currently I am in the applied math Ph.D. program at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. I got interested in neuroscience and now I am affilaited with a neuroscience research lab here at University of Arizona. The lab is run by Bruce McNaughton and Carol Barnes and the majority of research is directed toward memory and aging. I am at the beginning of my research and I am interested in goal memory, parietal cortex and the interaction of the parietal cortex+ frontal cortex with the hippocampus and goal memory. But there are also many other question that are of interest to me.
