Currently, I am a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute working on a Ph.D. in mathematics. I am interested in investigating ways to define, grow, and evolve geometric constructs that take inspiration from complex systems found in nature. Nature has found ways to grow and evolve three-dimensional forms. However, most mathematical approaches that are used today for generating three-dimensional forms do not capitalize on nature’s success. My work, thus far, has focused on the definition and growth of lines and polynomial curves. Upon finishing my thesis, I would like to continue both research and teaching.
