I am from Rostov-on-Don, a southern Russian city, recently graduated from Rostov State University, where I studied theory of mass communications. Presently I am a first-year graduate student in the political science program at the University of Oregon. My research interests are in game theory, statistical methods, evolutionary psychology, and computational modeling and simulation. Recently, I have been working with Prof. Mikhail Myagkov to create a game theoretical model of Russia's Duma and Presidential elections 1999-2000 and find equilibria dynamics, which would explain the current transition processes in the country. Another project is a statistical analysis of the U.S. presidential campaign 2000 and equity market fluctuations.
