I was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1973 and live here since then. I studied biology and graduated (and post-graduated) in genetics (Eötvös University, Budapest). My main interests include evolutionary biology and theoretical biology. During the post-graduate years my research focus turned to theoretical ecological problems. Currently, I work on two major fields of ecology: food web theory and the study of landscape connectivity. I always like simple mathematical thinking in approaching complex biological problems.
