Education: 1990-1996: MSc in Biology, StPetersburg State University.

1997-2000: PhD program in mycology at StPetersburg State University. Thesis: "Polymorphism in rock-inhabiting microfungi: predisposing factors, possible mechanisms and adaptive role".

Research interest: Morphology and morphogenesis of polymorphic fungi and adaptive role of morphogenesis. Special attention for dimorphism. Non-linear system dynamics approach in fungal morphogenesis. Investigation of cell state dynamics in polymorphic fiungi.
