I received my Masters Degree from the Theoretical Physics Department of Perm State University (2000, Physics of Acoustic and Hydrodynamic Wave Processes.) Summer, 2000 I worked on probation in France (IRPHE-IMT, Technopole de Chateau-Gombert, Marseilles). Now I am a Ph.D. student in Fluid Mechanics at Perm State University. Under the agreement between our department and the Dept. Mecanique (Universitie Paul Sabatier, Toulouse) part of my Ph.D. research will be carried out in France. Then I am going to defend my thesis both in Russia and France.
Studing at the Master course, I was involved in doing research project (INCO/COPERNICUS) and started investigations of near-critical fluids (fluids near the liquid-gas critical point). Mainly I am interested in heat and mass transfer processes. Under the guidance of Dmitriy Lyubimov, who is the head of Theoretical Physics Dept., I received the system of equations and boundary conditions that describe thermal and vibrational convection in near-critical fluids. We are going to apply them top a number of recently conducted experiments.
Fluid mechanics of near-critical fluids will be the main focus of my Ph.D. thesis. However, recently I have been included in another new international project (INTAS project), I will study influence of vibrations on crystal growing (in Czochralski configuration).
