In 1997 I graduated (Dipl. Ing degree) at the University of Economics, Faculty of Economic Informatics in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. Thereupon I joined the accademic staff at the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Economics in Bratislava. At the same time I started with my PhD studies in this department under the supervision of Prof. Jozef Kelemen. At the end of 1997 I became the assistant professor at the Institute of Computer Science, Silesian university in Opava, Czech Republic. In the year 2001 I left University of Economics.
In my research I focus on the multiagent systems, especially artificial economies. My interest is to explore the formal framework of emergence in MAS and study artificial MAS from the formal theoretical point of view. My PhD thesis deals with the grammar models of artificial economies.
