My research is aimed to the development of Computer models of the biochemical reactions of three-enzyme non-branched chain. The models consider all types of enzyme-enzyme interactions within the chain, that is (a) the isolated functioning of all three enzymes; (b) the complex interaction between any possible couple of the enzymes and (c) the interaction of all the three enzymes in complex. The models are based on the classical Michaelis-Menten theory of the enzymatic reaction as well as on the theory of metabolic control analysis for enzyme-enzyme interactions.
