Description: Discussion of observational techniques and engagement in live group simulations as experiential learning, with focus on how coherent behavior and complexity emerge from interactions beween individual agents, such as formation of social and political movements. First-hand experience in observing interactional patterns and system dynamics, such as how individuals come to play leadership roles, how alliances and pairing occur in groups, and how culture (lasting patterns of interaction and belief) form.
