Rhitu Chatterjee has worked as a public radio and science journalist for nearly a decade. She covers stories about science, health, the environment – and places where they intersect. She currently lives in New Delhi, where she also covers poverty and development. She recently received a grant from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting to investigate India’s free school lunch program, one of the largest anti-poverty programs in the world. You can hear her stories on PRI’s The World, and NPR’s All Things Considered and Morning Edition. She also writes for Science magazine, the BBC’s online magazine, and blogs like NPR’s Goats & Soda and Salt. She plans to spend April and May 2015 at SFI.
