Bio

Clio works with Geoffrey West and Luis Bettencourt on "The Hidden Laws that Pervade Biological and Social Systems". She is trained in Geographic Information Science (GIS) and holds a PhD in Urban Information Systems from MIT, where she was a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow. She was also a visiting scholar at Penn State's GeoVISTA Center and a member of the MIT Senseable City Lab. She has previously held post-docs at MIT's Dept. of Urban Studies and Planning and in Singapore at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology.
